SAM is a networking and communication hub for the Self-Advocacy movement in Minnesota. They raise money and get resources to self-advocacy groups across the state and provide technical assistance to support groups in reaching their goals. Their mission is to support the human and civil rights of people with developmental disabilities and encourage all people with disabilities to participate in the larger disability rights movement.
